Yay Spring!

Well, Easter came and went. And now its really spring, even if the weather doesn’t feel like it. Now that the holidays are over, the husband’s schedule is in full swing. He’ll be home something like 6 days in the next 5 weeks. Its crazy, but luckily it works out that his days home fall mostly on Friday & Saturday so at least we get some semblance of a weekend together.

We dyed Easter eggs this weekend. It was tons of fun, but I think I made a bigger mess of my hands doing this at 27 than I did at 7. I suppose that’s because at 7 I had parental supervision. I don’t think this bodes well for my kids hands when the time comes. Or maybe it bodes well because making messes is part of any good childhood? The jury is out on that one, I’ll let you know in 10 years or so. I didn’t get a chance to make my 3-D sugar cookies, which was sad. There is always next year though.

I am happy to announce that I have officially converted another person to the dark side and that Nikki is now sufficiently sucked in to Grey’s Anatomy. Hehehehe.

What is up with the Yankees? They are seriously playing like crap. Its a little frustrating to watch. And now Hideki is on the DL. Ugh. I know its early, but really? The number of errors we’ve committed, and our starting pitching just being that abysmal, its not particularly encouraging.
